Reykjavik (day 7)

Today is my last day in Reykjavik and disaster has struck.

An ATM sucked up my debit card and refused to spit it out. I'm waiting for the bank to call to say they've retrieved it for me to collect downtown. Fingers crossed.

Day 7 (Saturday)

Woke up at 4am for 8am flight to Reykjavik. Napped.

First glimpse of Iceland below. Headed straight to Blue Lagoon from the airport.

Gosh, I can't remember the last time I did anything so luxurious. The water was a blissful 38°C. Despite the groups of tourists, there was space for everyone.

The last photo below of Hallgrímskirkja was taken at around 11pm (on the way home from watching Eurovision Grand Final live in a cinema) so you can imagine how late the sun sets...
